Agricultural control

Agricultural control concerns the precise estimate of farmed areas, with the identification and location of the type of crop and an appraisal of crop damage caused by flooding, frost, storms or insects, etc. This market is also fully expanding with the emergence of new European agro-environmental measures, and with the advent of traceability and certification standards (for seeds, product quality, etc.). This activity is of particular interest to the major insurance companies (appraisal of damage) and the public authorities (regions, countries, European Union, etc.), together with the certifying organisations which control certain subsidies (e.g. financial aids per hectare and the percentage of land left fallow, etc.).
